Josh Allen is in pole position to win his first NFL MVP award.

The Bills quarterback passed Patrick Mahomes as the MVP favorite with another excellent game Monday night, leading Buffalo to a 3-0 start.

Allen is as low as +200 at DraftKings Sportsbook, just ahead of Mahomes at +300 – no other player has odds better than 11/1 to win the award.

His rise follows a dominant win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on “Monday Night Football,” in which Allen threw for 263 yards with four touchdown passes during the 47-10 blowout.

Allen is off to perhaps the best start of his seven-year NFL career with a league-best 133.7 passer rating, seven touchdowns and 634 passing yards through three games.

Most importantly, Allen hasn’t thrown a single interception in 72 attempts, something that has been the Achilles heel for the talented quarterback over the years.

He has the Bills in first place in the AFC East and one of five undefeated teams in the league.

Mahomes’ Chiefs are also 3-0, but his numbers have been decidedly less impressive than Allen’s thus far.

He already has four interceptions – at least one in every game – with just five touchdown passes.

The Bills have also scored an NFL-best 37.3 points per game compared to the Chiefs’ 25 per game.

Betting on the NFL?

Buffalo’s Lombardi Trophy odds have shot up during the first few weeks of the season as well.

The Bills (+800) now trail only the Chiefs (+450) and 49ers (+650) on the Super Bowl oddsboard at DraftKings.

Allen and the Bills will head to Baltimore in Week 4 for a “Sunday Night Football” matchup against Lamar Jackson, the reigning NFL MVP, and the Ravens.
