Peacock is more than just the streaming destination for the Winter Olympics in February, even though the games are overshadowing the movies.

Regardless, Peacock has just added an Oscar-nominated film, Song Sung Blue, which was largely underrated during its brief theatrical run near the end of 2025.

That’s just one of the Watch With Us team’s picks for the three Peacock movies to binge-watch this weekend.

Our remaining selections include a drama with an actor who is back in the news and a very modern take on a horror movie.

‘Song Sung Blue’ (2025)

SONG SUNG BLUE - Official Trailer [HD] - Only in Theaters This Christmas

Despite the heavy presence of Neil Diamond songs in the film, Song Sung Blue isn’t a biopic about the famous musician. Instead, it’s about Lightning and Thunder, the Neil Diamond tribute band fronted by Mike Sardina (Hugh Jackman) and Claire Stengl (Kate Hudson). That duo was the subject of a 2008 documentary film, which shares its name with this film and one of Diamond’s anthems.

The movie winds the clock back to the late 1980s, as Mike and Claire meet for the first time while covering other acts. In Diamond’s music, they’re able to find their groove onstage and in bringing their blended family together through marriage. But when tragedy strikes the couple, Mike and Claire have to overcome a lot of issues if they ever want to reclaim the bliss they felt while performing together. Hudson snagged a Best Actress nomination for her role in this film, and we’ll learn next month if she’s destined for Oscar gold.

‘Salvable’ (2025)

Toby Kebbell leads the cast of Salvable as Sal, an aging boxer who never really found glory in the ring. Sal’s talents have been sapped by age and by the demands of the real world. That’s why he works a day job at a nursing home while attempting to build a rapport with his troubled daughter, Molly (Kíla Lord Cassidy). Even showing Molly his deep regrets can’t seem to dissuade her from making her own bad decisions.

Sal’s world gets even more complicated when his shady friend, Vince (Shia LaBeouf), gets out of prison and starts enticing him to do some morally questionable things. Underground fighting is one thing, but hanging around Vince too long may cost Sal more than just his soul. There aren’t too many second chances in the world of this film, and Sal may be about to blow his for good.

‘The Invisible Man’ (2020)

The Handmaid’s Tale star Elisabeth Moss headlines the most recent remake of The Invisible Man as Cecilia Kass, a brilliant architect who is trapped in an abusive relationship with millionaire Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). Even Adrian’s apparent death can’t seem to stop him from ruining Cecilia’s life in ways that she can’t imagine.

Cecilia understandably has a hard time believing that Adrian is really gone, especially when she’s tormented by an invisible man who goes out of his way to make her look delusional in front of her best friend, Detective James Lanier (Aldis Hodge), and James’ teenage daughter, Sydney (Storm Reid). It seems impossible, but Adrian appears to have found a new way to torment Cecilia, and there’s very little she can do about it. That doesn’t mean she isn’t going to try to break free again.
