Drake had a big weekend gambling Saturday night.

The musical phenomenon and combat sports fan posted a betting ticket on Alex Pereira ML at 1.77 decimal odds (-130 American odds) for $675,000 to win $1,194,750.

The total profit Drake netted on Pereira was $519,750.

Drake posted the ticket on his Instagram page, which has 146 million followers, and the bet won around 2 a.m. ET, when Pereira landed a wild left uppercut on Hill, winning by TKO and cashing as the slight favorite.

The famous “Drake Curse” is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the artist’s willingness to hop around different teams and athletes with his support, preceding brutal losses.

A few that come to mind were when he walked out with Conor McGregor at UFC 229 during the weigh-ins and when McGregor went on to lose to Khabib Nurmagomedov by submission.

There are some wins, though, that need to be laid out, including bets on the Chiefs to win the 2023 and 2024 Super Bowls, as well as winning $1.41 million on Jon Jones at UFC 285.

He has also supported the Maple Leafs and Kentucky, who have been disappointing for several years.

The Drake Curse has continued with struggles in the MMA world, where he is very active in the betting realm.

Drake wagered $500,000 on Israel Adesanya as a massive favorite in Sept. 2023, but he would go on to be upset by Sean Strickland in that fight.

He followed that up by wagering $700,000 on Strickland, a losing wager as Dricus du Plessis won by split decision.

It would seem that other than his love for the 2019 NBA champion Raptors, Drake has really struggled to reverse the Drake Curse.

He also showed off a picture of him wearing a Shohei Ohtani Blue Jays jersey when it seemed to be trending in the direction that he would land in Canada to play baseball.

Ohtani went on to sign with the Dodgers shortly after Drake posted the picture.
