Far-left Bronx and Queens Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tried to pump up ousted Rep. Jamaal Bowman online Wednesday following his primary loss — only to tag the wrong social media user in her message.

“Son of a single mother. Grew up in public housing. Dedicated his life to teaching. Became a school principal. Founded a prized school to serve Bronx youth. Elected as the 1st Black [sic] Congressman for NY16. Never took a dime in corporate money,” the “Squad” member posted on X hours after Bowman’s defeat by Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

“A true public servant,” Ocasio-Cortez added of Bowman, 48, while tagging a different X user located in Germany with the same name, but just 65 followers.

Bowman critics, already in a mirthful mood, were quick to point out the mistake.

“Knows him so well, she tagged the wrong Jamaal,” replied “Off Limits” host and columnist Ian Haworth.

“You can tell AOC is super broken up about this by how she tagged an account that hasn’t tweeted in 12 years but whose final tweet was a hilarious joke about putting her head in the oven,” one X user snarked.

“When the rush to virtue signal is so strong @AOC tagged the wrong Jamaal Bowman,” another joked of her post.

“Where’s ‘determined tester of fire alarms?’” Article III Project senior counsel Will Chamberlain added. “An oversight, surely.”

“She forgot rape-denier and 9/11 conspiracy theorist,” posted Aviva Klompas, a former speechwriter for Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations.

“Jamaal Bowman. Pulled a fire alarm while congress [sic] was in session. Called the rape of Jewish women ‘propaganda,’” writer Rachel Moiselle said in mocking imitation of AOC’s praise for Bowman.

“Pushed for the poorest kids in NY to be banned from public school due to Covid while his kids were attending a highly expensive private school,” she added, before shaming him in Yiddish: “A true Shanda.”

“We are definitely gonna miss Jamaal political rallies,” said Graham Allen, host of “Dear America,” before sharing video of Ocasio-Cortez’s bizarre cameo in the Bronx at a pro-Bowman rally this past weekend.

During the event, Bowman lifted a stool up and slammed it down onstage, leading chants of “Cease-fire now” before going on a profanity-laced tirade against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

“We are gonna show f–king AIPAC the power of the motherf–king South Bronx,” he shouted during the low-turnout rally.

Ocasio-Cortez, 34, shrieked for supporters to “take the country back” and re-elect Bowman, while awkwardly knocking her microphones over in the process.

The democratic socialist won her primary over political newcomer and former Wall Street banker Marty Dolan Tuesday, securing a likely fourth term in the deep blue district.

While Bowman may not have taken “corporate money,” in Ocasio-Cortez’s words, he did accept campaign donations through his leadership PAC from employees at Apple, Google and JPMorgan Chase, according to the money-in-politics tracker OpenSecrets.org.

The Bowman campaign also took almost $3,700 from a retired Wall Street banker, Felice Gelman, who is giving away her fortune for anti-Israel causes — such as antisemitic tent encampments on US college campuses.
