Bachelor alum Madi Prewett and her husband, Grant Troutt, are officially parents following the arrival of their first baby.

Prewett, 28, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 26, to reveal she gave birth to a baby girl named Hosanna on Monday, January 20. Sharing a carousel of images that showed the child delicately bundled in a white blanket and pink bow, Prewett simply captioned the series, “Hosanna Rose Troutt 🩷 1.20.25.”

Troutt, also 28, was seen throughout the snaps, too, lovingly cradling Prewett’s face as she nursed the couple’s baby and posing for several photos alongside his girls. Troutt simultaneously shared the Instagram post via his own account.

Prewett announced her pregnancy via Instagram in August 2024. “WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!” she captioned photos of herself and Troutt holding sonogram images and showing off her baby bump. “Baby Troutt we are SO ready for you and can’t wait to meet you 🤍🥹.”

Later that month, Prewett explained that the couple — who tied the knot in October 2022 — had only just started “trying” for a baby when she learned she was expecting.

“We said we don’t wanna put any pressure on it, we don’t know what this journey’s gonna look like,” she said on her “Stay True With Madison Prewett Troutt” podcast. “Again, we didn’t want to just expect that we were gonna be able to get pregnant. We’ve walked our friends through a lot of really hard things.”

The pair noted that they were “very surrendered” and “had hope” that Prewett would get pregnant, but her positive test came as a surprise since they had not been trying “hardcore” to conceive.

“There was nothing in my mind that even for a second was like, ‘This could be pregnant,’” she recalled of taking the test. “I don’t know why my mind just didn’t even go there.”

While Prewett was “shaking” when she discovered she was pregnant, she opted not to tell Troutt right away because he was preoccupied with his last week of work as a youth minister at Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.

“So I’m like, in my mind, thinking, ‘OK, I’ve gotta just keep it cool, I’ve gotta show up at church and just focus on serving [Grant] this whole week,” she recounted. “And what I’ll do is I’ll order a really cute little gift to present him with when I tell him that we’re pregnant. That’ll take some days to get in anyways and so it’s all gonna work out.’”

She added, “I got to take that time during the week to just pray and process with Jesus and, of course, I wish I could’ve told Grant a little sooner but it worked out.”

Troutt then revealed how Prewett shared the news with him. “The first thing I see is this wooden frame and it says, ‘We’re having a baby,’” he said. “And I look down and it’s the pregnancy test, and it says ‘pregnant,’ and then right next to that is this little baby Jordan shoe, and behind the Jordan shoe is the same type of shoe but my size.”

Troutt confessed that he “could not believe what I was seeing,” describing it as “one of the most surreal moments of my life.”

Prewett previously competed on Peter Weber’s season 24 of The Bachelor in 2020. Although she finished as the runner-up when she eliminated herself, she and Weber briefly gave their relationship another shot after reconnecting at the After the Final Rose special in March 2020. However, they split for good days after the finale aired.
