Grace O’Malley was not subtle when addressing her recent falling out with Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.
The Barstool Sports personality did not share her side of the story on a podcast, instead joking about the situation during a recent comedy show.
“Sorry if I’m not myself tonight, I’m going through a divorce,” O’Malley, 26, said, receiving laughter from the crowd. “It’s a very common type of divorce with only a few minor differences. For example, it’s not a marriage, it was a 15-year friendship.”
She continued, “She’s not keeping the house, she’s keeping the podcast. And when it came to the kids, we took a very progressive approach. Instead of doing shared custody, we’re letting the kids decide who they want to go with.”
The video went viral on TikTok with O’Malley joking about “handling this” the same way her dad would have “if my parents could afford a divorce.” She joked that she’s “bottling my emotions and picking up a bottle” before chugging a beer on stage.
Fans have questioned the status of O’Malley’s friendship with LaPaglia, 25, since the final episode of their “PlanBri Uncut” podcast aired in October. O’Malley shared a three-slide Instagram Story post on December 6, revealing that she and LaPaglia had ended their long-term friendship — along with the podcast.

“This last year, I bit my tongue so much that I shouldn’t even have one anymore. I was willing to wait out of respect, but things don’t always work out the way you think they will. In fact they rarely do. I most definitely did not foresee any of this EVER ending,” she wrote, in part. “I don’t think I’ll ever fully get into every aspect of how this came to be, but it should be said that, although this was not a mutual decision, I’m realizing that, in the grand scheme of things, it might actually end up being the right one.”
LaPaglia addressed O’Malley’s Instagram post on the Wednesday, December 11, episode of her “BFFs” podcast, explaining that their friendship started to fracture because of the tension between O’Malley and LaPaglia’s ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan. (LaPaglia accused Bryan of abuse after they broke up in late October.)
“These are two separate conversations because, like, Zach ruining Grace and I’s friendship is something separate,” LaPaglia said. “She knew what I was going through. I really needed her, so I couldn’t do the podcast anymore because we’re sitting there pretending to be friends. I didn’t feel seen by her. I needed to set a boundary.”
