Let’s all scream for ice cream.

Spring weather has finally entered the chat, just in time for this year’s Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day.

On Tuesday, April 16, participating Ben & Jerry’s locations worldwide will offer customers one free ice cream cone — no purchase necessary.

The ice cream chain will be handing out free cones from 12 pm to 8 pm.

In New York City, participating Ben & Jerry’s locations include:

  • Times Square: 200 West 44th Street
  • Hell’s Kitchen: 401 West 51st Street
  • Rockefeller Center: 30 Rockefeller Center
  • 104th & Broadway: 2722 Broadway
  • Ridgewood: 104-106 Franklin Ave

The company has offered some “hacks” to help people prepare for big day: plan your flavor of choice, leave your wallet at home, bring an activity, wear comfy shoes, bring your appetite — and don’t forget to thank your scooper.

Free Cone Day was first introduced in 1979 as a way for Ben & Jerry’s to say thank you to their loyal fans for the support during their first year of business in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont.

By 2015, they had given away over 1,000,000 scoops of Ben & Jerry’s around the world.
