Katie Price revealed that her husband, Lee Andrews, has gone missing and police can’t find “any record” of his whereabouts.
“On Wednesday night my husband was detained in a van by the Oman border near Hatta. I have not heard from him since, despite getting the authorities involved, nobody knows where he is,” Price, 47, captioned a video uploaded to her YouTube channel on Saturday, May 16.
The Celebrity Big Brother UK alum expressed her concern following the couple’s last FaceTime call, during which Andrews, 43, was attempting to “go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me.”
“He had a hood on and he said ‘I’ve just been captured, arrested,’ or whatever,” Price recalled of his May 13 disappearance. “I can’t remember the exact word he said, but he had ties around his hand, not handcuffs, and a hood, and he said, ‘Look, they’re coming back for me. They’re coming back for me.’ That is the last FaceTime call I had with him. And then his phone went dead at 10:03.”
That also marked the time when the ability to track his phone’s location was no longer available. She described the vehicle he was detained in as an “old, dirty van.”
“That’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and myself,” Price added. “So, this is the third day now. Obviously, he phoned me before the location went off. He’s in the middle of nowhere … obviously, I’m worried like, what the hell’s happened? Then Thursday came, still nothing. My messages weren’t going through. It was just one tick.”
Price feared for the worst, questioning if he was being “tortured” or held somewhere against his will. She called the ordeal “unsettling,” revealing the unknown has left her very concerned. “I don’t know if I need to fly to Dubai,” she shared in her video. The reality star also noted that she had been in constant contact with authorities there, including police, the embassy, as well as “the head of CID in Dubai,” known as the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dubai Police.
The couple tied the knot in January. Andrews is Price’s fourth husband as she was previously married to Peter Andre from 2005 to 2009, Alex Reid from 2010 to 2012 and Kieran Hayler from 2013 to 2021.
“He’s definitely a missing person now,” she said of Andrews. “I don’t know if he’s been kidnapped. I don’t know what’s going on. So now no one can find him in any prison, police station, anything, anywhere in Dubai. The police just can’t find any record of it.”
