Brianna LaPaglia, a.k.a. Brianna Chickenfry is done with men after her acrimonious split with Zach Bryan.

After admitting to being blindsided by the break up earlier this week, the podcaster took to social media on Saturday, October 26, to reassure her followers she was doing ok.

“I’m literally so fine besties,” LaPaglia, 25, wrote via her Instagram Story, adding, “F— men and k!ll em all lmao.”

She also shared that her friends had sent her cupcakes to deal with the break-up which meant to read “his loss” but instead had a typo so they read, “his lose”.

LaPaglia further touched on the split in other posts shared via her Instagram Story, writing, “Remember when I put my life on pause for a man. Forgive me I’m only human.”

On Tuesday, October 22, Bryan, 28, confirmed that he and LaPaglia had split after one year of dating.

“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with eachother [SIC] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” the country singer shared in an Instagram Story statement. “She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her.”

He continued: “I’ve had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go out different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”

The country singer then urged fans to give the former couple space to navigate through the break up in privacy.

“If you have it in your heart, mine too,” he added. “With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”

For her part, LaPaglia responded via her Instagram Story by revealing she didn’t see Bryan’s public post coming.

“Hey guys I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote.“I love you guys so much thank you for all of your kind words. Remember you are so loved and everything’s always gonna be OK.”

Echoing the sentiment in a YouTube video posted soon afterwards, LaPaglia shared her devastation.

“How can you, like, give every ounce of yourself to someone and then, like, be discarded of in a few days,” LaPaglia said. “It’s really, really heartbreaking and I don’t want to talk about details right now.”

The pair went public with their relationship in July 2023. At the time, LaPaglia described their romance as “fun” and “casual” when she spoke about it on her podcast.

Rumors began to swirl they had called it quits earlier this month when LaPaglia posted a cryptic handwritten note via Stories on Monday, October 21.

“And eventually you’ll find that life goes on, even if you don’t want it to,” her message said. “The days will pass and the world will move while you ask it to stop. You’ll believe life is cruel for continuing on while your feet are stuck.”

LaPaglia continued, “You’ll find people and moments to blame for your concrete feet. Then there will come a morning when you wake and realize things go on, life isn’t cruel your feet are. The world keeps on spinning in hopes of showing you that you can as well.”
