Candace Cameron Bure has never been one to shy away from tough topics, and her podcast has become the place where she shares some of her most personal revelations.

From the highs and lows of her nearly 30-year marriage with husband Valeri Bure and her ongoing battle with bulimia, to frank conversations about sex and modern dating, Cameron Bure, 49, has offered listeners an unfiltered look at her life — with humor, tears and hard-won wisdom along the way.

Here’s a look at everything the 49-year-old actress has shared across recent episodes of “The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast”:

What ‘Weirds’ Her Out About Sex

Cameron Bure got very candid about the one aspect of sex that continues to disturb her.

“A visual of God watching me having sex weirds me out,” Cameron Bure said during the Tuesday, March 3, episode of her podcast. “It totally just depends on your upbringing and what your past experiences have been or the things that you were taught as a kid.

She added, “Again, I’m almost 50 and some of those adolescent thoughts never quite leave your mind or those high school teenage thoughts never quite leave your mind.”

The Evolution of Her Marriage

Cameron Bure admitted that not all parts of her marriage to Valeri Bure have been rosy, speaking candidly about the peaks and valleys of their relationship.

“Val and I next year will be 30 years married, and it’s definitely been a rollercoaster,” she said during the January 2026 episode when asked if she’s ever felt “stuck.”

Cameron Bure revealed there have been “lots of highs and there’s been some really low lows” throughout their relationship.

“And I know that during some of those low times, I wouldn’t even say it’s low,” the Fuller House actress continued. “You’re just kind of, like, sitting in the shallow of the valley. Where you’re like, ‘This isn’t the best, but that’s just life.’ We’ll just kind of go through it.”

Cameron Bure explained, “You just feel stuck, and yet, for us, we didn’t have either the confidence or just the straight-up courage to be honest enough with each other to say the really hard things because I know they’re gonna hurt your feelings and I know you’re gonna hurt my feelings by hearing it, by saying it.”

Telling Her Husband About Her Eating Disorder

In one of her most emotional podcast moments, Cameron Bure opened up about the moment she told her husband she was struggling with bulimia.

The actress recalled a time she had to “confess” something and felt “scared” to do so. “The easiest thing that comes to mind is being a bulimic and hiding that for so long and for several years,” she explained. “And living with my husband and hiding it from him — we’re in the same house.”

She added, “It makes you want to hide and isolate yourself, and yet the bravest thing you can do is confess it.”

Cameron Bure felt “relief” afterwards, referring to her husband as “awesome” and explaining that she was met with “such compassion.”

Talking to Her Kids About Sex

Cameron Bure was not shy about giving her kids the birds and the bees talk — and she had some fun with it along the way.

“I had very open conversations with my kids, when they got older, about sex,” Cameron Bure said on the February 2026 episode, noting that she “grossed them out all the time” with the discussions.

“I kind of loved talking about that with them because I wanted them to know that it was safe,” she added. “I made it as fun as possible, and like I was comfortable talking about it just so there would be no embarrassment or shame in those conversations.”
