A 21-year-old woman asked her 44-year-old boyfriend to make a social media video with her and the pair got roasted as a result.

Ellie Liptrot shared a clip of her boyfriend Mark Hillary guessing the price of her beauty products.

“My boyfriend is quite out of touch with this. He doesn’t really understand the prices of makeup stuff,” she said.

But the comment section wasn’t kind to the couple.

“Glad your dad does TikToks with you,” one said.

Another said: “Doing makeup stuff with your dad.”

One asked what kind of carer wage Ms. Liptrot received for being with Mr. Hillary.

“What made you look at him and think ‘yeah, you’re well fit’,” another said.

The duo has gained a large social media following as they share reality of life as a couple with a 23-year age gap.

One video on their joint account has four million views. It features Mr. Hillary buying a “Boo Basket” for his girlfriend.

The couple revealed they met in December, 2021. Ms. Liptrot was on a Christmas night out.

Her friend texted another mate named Declan to take them to get some food. But Declan wasn’t available so sent Mr. Hillary’s number.

“We called this person and it ended up being Mark,” Ms. Liptrot told her social media following.

“We didn’t actually get dropped off back home till 7 in the morning because Mark honestly had the night of his life,” she said.

Ms. Liptrot, Mr. Hillary and their mutual pals formed a friendship group. In March 2022, Ms. Liptrot realized she liked Mr. Hillary as more than a friend.

They went to a lodge and shared a kiss.

Shortly after, she “practically” moved in with him. And, in June 2022, she met Mr. Hillary’s children for the first time. Mr. Hillary has two children.

“About a week after I met them is when we all lived together full time,” she said.

“If I wasn’t such a greedy girl that I wanted food I’d have never have met Mark.”

She said the couple lived in a small town and “definitely” crossed paths prior to dating. She said she used to go into the smoothie shop Mr. Hillary previously owned.
