Delegates from Iran and Cuba staged a walkout during President Trump’s fiery United Nations speech when the commander-in-chief threatened to take down their regimes.
Iranians started to get up and leave when Trump talked tough about the terrorist regime, telling the world he was deciding whether to “annihilate the Islamic Republic ” or to “drive them into hell.”
It was later revealed that other Iranian leaders were speaking to US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for three hours on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly as Trump threatened to ramp up the war.
During the Cuba section of the president’s 38-minute address, Trump called the communist country an “absolutely failed state” and said the government “will fall.”
The Cuban delegates also got up and left.
Trump went on to say that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is leading the US charge for a “fundamental change” in Cuba.
Rubio was recently named Trump’s permanent national security advisor, a promotion from his acting role.
Trump linked the rise of “left-wing radicals” in the US to the communist Cuban regime.
“Communism will never be coming to America — but freedom will be coming to Cuba and safety and security will be coming to Mexico,” Trump said.
