Donald Trump Jr. has broken his silence after he and Kimberly Guilfoyle called it quits.

“Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond,” Trump, 46, told Page Six in a Friday, December 13, statement. “I could not be more proud of her and the important role she’ll continue to play [as U.S. ambassador to Greece.]”

Trump added, “She’s been an undefeated prosecutor, national TV news star, a leader of the MAGA movement and close advisor to the president. The people of Greece are getting an absolute star and now the whole world will see it more than ever.”

According to Trump, “no one deserves this ambassadorship more than” Guilfoyle, 55. Trump’s father, president-elect Donald Trump Sr. had named Guilfoyle as his pick to represent the United States in Greece when his second term begins in January 2025.

Us Weekly confirmed earlier this week that Trump and Guilfoyle called off their engagement.

“Don and Kimberly broke up before the election and started to divide assets around the end of September,” a source exclusively told Us, adding that the pair “never discussed” their breakup publicly to avoid detracting from other “important issues.”

The insider also claimed that Trump was the person to end the relationship, but that “the breakup was amicable.”

“So is their relationship today,” the insider added. “They just had different goals.”

Trump and Guilfoyle were friends for many years before they started dating in 2018. He proposed two years later, confirming the engagement at his sister Tiffany’s 2022 wedding to Michael Boulos.

Since Trump and Guilfoyle split, they have both “moved on,” according to the source. Trump, for his part, has recently been linked to socialite Bettina Anderson.

“It’s a new relationship. He likes her a lot and has a lot of respect for her,” the source told Us, noting that Trump is “smitten.”

Guilfoyle was previously married to Gavin Newsom, the current governor of California, from 2001 to 2006 and Eric Villency from 2006 to 2009. The TV personality and Villency share 18-year-old son Ronan.

Trump, for his part, was married to ex-wife Vanessa between 2005 and 2018. They share five children: Kai, 17, Donald, 15, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 10.

As for Trump’s newfound relationship with Anderson, neither of the pair have publicly addressed their status. They were spotted holding hands in Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, December 10.
