Tremaine Edmunds almost always looks down on the other players in the linebacker room.

This would be an alarming personality trait if this were about his attitude toward his teammates. In fact, this is about altitude, not attitude, when it comes to how Edmunds views his professional environment.

It is obvious the moment you approach him. He is one tall dude, especially for the position he plays.

“It’s not a lot of times when you find someone you’re kind of looking eye level with, at least for me, because I’ve always kind of been an outlier as far as one of the taller guys,’’ Edmunds said last week at the Gridiron Gala, where he was supporting new teammate and honoree Brian Burns. “The league is changing, you know what I mean? A lot of teams are going after these taller and some bigger guys. That’s the NFL, it’s always evolving.’’
