Guy Gansert has found love again after vying for Joan Vassos’ affections on The Golden Bachelorette.

“I HAVE FOUND MY PERSON ❤️,” Gansert, 66, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, April 1, tagging a woman named Johanna Boston. In the image, Gansert and Boston were all smiles as they posed in front of a red heart-shaped statue.

The comments section was flooded with Bachelor Nation alums congratulating Gansert on his relationship. “So happy for you both!!!!” host Jesse Palmer wrote, while fellow Golden Bachelorette contestant Jonathan Rone added, “Congratulations brother! Looks like my golden brother struck a heart of gold 💛.”

Susan Noles, who appeared on Gerry Turner’s season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, wrote, “Excited for you two💕.”

Gansert’s hard-launch comes one month after Kelly Bensimon revealed that the twosome had been texting — with him sending her “novellas” — until he shared that he was dating someone else.

“So I text back and I’m like, ‘That’s great.’ That’s how I text back. I’m like, ‘That’s great, sounds fun, look forward to, can’t wait, whatever,’” Bensimon, 56, said during a March episode of the “I Do Part 2” podcast. “And it was like … ‘I like this and I like that, and I think you’d like this, and I think you’d like that,’ and going on and on and on and on and ‘Here’s a photo of me without a pocket square.’ I was like, ‘What is going on?’”

She continued, “Because he knew we were coming here, he was like, ‘Oh, by the way, I’m dating someone. Here’s her name.’ And I was like, ‘Wait, I’m sorry, what?’”

The Real Housewives of New York City alum claimed that Ganserr continued to send her “more images” of himself and told her that he’s an “actor.” (Gansert guest starred on an episode of General Hospital that aired in March.)

Months before, viewers watched as Vassos, 62, sent Gansert packing in the season 1 finale of The Golden Bachelorette. Gansert appeared blindsided by her decision to call it quits.

“I felt so good today. I fell in love with you. I was ready to let it all out. … This is not what I was expecting at all,” he told Vassos during the breakup, adding that he was ready to get down on one knee and propose to her.

When the exes reunited at the live taping of After the Final Rose in November 2024, Gansert asked whether there was “something missing” in their relationship. Vassos reassured him that there was nothing.

“It comes down to it being kind of a time thing,” she said during the episode. “It was really, really hard in the end to say goodbye to you because in any other situation, I would have been with you because we would have had more time. There was a time element in this that I had to make a decision and I had just gotten farther along, my heart belonged to somebody else already. It was absolutely nothing you did. You are an amazing man.”

Vassos added that she has “missed” Gansert and hopes to go on a double-date with him in the future. Vassos ultimately accepted a proposal from Chock Chapple in the finale.

ABC has previously put out a casting call for season 2 of The Golden Bachelor, but with Gansert finding love offscreen, he’s out of the running to be the next senior lead. Other Golden alums will head to Bachelor in Paradise for the first crossover season this summer.
