Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are so in sync that they even coordinated holiday presents.
In the most recent edition of Steinfeld’s “Beau Society” newsletter, the actress, 27, revealed that she purchased a Miyabi Kaizen chef’s knife for Allen, 28.
“I got this knife for Josh last year for Christmas because cooking is something we love to do together,” Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter, also detailing her go-to soup recipe. “For Christmas he got me … the same one in a different colorway!”
The pair opened up the boxes in December 2023.
“He told me there’s an old wive’s tale that if you gift your significant other a knife you have to pay for it, otherwise it signifies the severing of a relationship,” Steinfeld recalled. “So, we exchanged quarters so we didn’t have that bad omen.”
She concluded, “Anyway, oh my God, I love this knife! I don’t know much about a chef’s knife but it is just so nice and makes me feel official.”
Steinfeld and the Buffalo Bills quarterback have publicly linked since spring 2023.
“They laugh a ton when they’re together [and] are always smiling,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2023, noting that Steinfeld and Allen weren’t “putting any pressure or unrealistic expectations” on their romance progression.
The couple made their Instagram debut this summer when they each shared pics from a joint getaway to Paris.
Steinfeld has since been a fixture at Allen’s Bills games during the 2024-2025 NFL season.
“Football season is back which means a few things. A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week (go off 17),” Steinfeld wrote in a past issue of “Beau Society” last month. “B) We’re just a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops (California girl speaking) where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate bundled in vintage Bills gear.”
She added, “I spent most of the game thinking about how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team and the stadium energy. The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”
Steinfeld is also supporting Allen’s teammates. Earlier this month, the Hawkeye alum and Allen were spotted at the Shakir Family Pet Adoption Event in Buffalo, which was hosted by Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir and his wife, Sayler.
