The Ohio State Buckeyes first played the Michigan Wolverines in October 1897.

127 short years later, the rivalry is as strong as ever.

And, on Saturday, Nov. 30, the foes are re-upping their ongoing turf war for the 120th time (!) when they meet at Columbus’ Ohio Stadium for the final game of the 2024 season.

Going into this year’s contest, Michigan has won three the last three “The Game” games against Ohio State. That being said, Sherrone Moore’s reigning NCAA champions will have their work cut out for them come Saturday. Going into the final showdown of the season, the Wolverines are 6-5 while Ohio State is 10-1 and ranked no. 2 in the country, according to the Associated Press.

Still, “The Game” is all about pride. A win here guarantees bragging rights for a year.

“I’m stoked [and] fired up. This one is for those guys that came back, this one is for Buckeye Nation,” quarterback Will Howard said. “I feel that hurt. You can say anything about records, this is always going to be a close game. I want this for those guys so bad. Shut up the haters and be able to go out there and say, ‘Man, this is the Ohio State Buckeyes.’ This is the biggest game of our season and I’m looking forward to it.”

If you want to be there to see Howard go toe-to-toe with Donovan Edwards and the Wolverines, last-minute tickets to “The Game” at The Horseshoe are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $230 before fees on Vivid Seats.

AA sideline-level seats start at $432 before fees.

While expensive, it’s hard to put a price on witnessing one of sports’ greatest rivalries live up close and personal.
