Evbuomwan — born to immigrants from Nigeria — didn’t discover basketball until he was 14. Even coming to play in the U.S. collegiately was a longshot, 1-in-100 odds — literally. He never even considered the NBA as a wild pipe dream until after his solid freshman season at Princeton.
