And all of this is without star shortstop Francisco Lindor, who has been out with a back issue and won’t return for Friday night’s game.
Going into Friday night’s game, the Mets are tied with Arizona for the NL’s second wild card with a two-game lead on Atlanta, who the Mets will face for the penultimate series of the season on Tuesday.
