She didn’t appreciate the airplane paparazzi.

A Wizz Air passenger got into a spat with a self-proclaimed “famous” passenger after they asked that she stop filming out of fear of being recognized. Footage of their midair tiff currently boasts over 28 million views on TikTok.

“I thought she was joking,” Paris Johnson told Kennedy News while recalling the uncomfortable exchange.

The 18-year-old was reportedly returning to London, UK after a flight from Hungary when she awoke 15 minutes prior to landing and decided to check her hair using her phone’s camera.

That’s when the Liverpool resident was confronted by the aforementioned aisle monitor.

“She said ‘can you stop recording me?’” recalled Johnson, who initially thought the woman was joking given her innocuous action and the fact that she looked “quite young.”

But then she saw the flyer’s face and realized she was “serious.”

The footage shows Johnson adjusting her curls when the woman, who is off camera, tells her to “stop recording” as she doesn’t want “to be in the video.”

“You’re not in the video,” replies the TikTokker, who declines to capitulate and even laughs at the audacious demand. At one point, she pans to the cabin to show that they’ve got a whole aisle separating them.

In a follow-up video, the self-proclaimed star reiterates her outrageous request, claiming that she felt “very offended” and didn’t “pay for a ticket” to be filmed.

According to Johnson, the passenger insisted that she was famous and didn’t want people to identify her voice — a claim the TikTokker found ridiculous as no one seemed to know who this so-called celebrity was.

“She thought people would recognize her from her voice but people are still confused,” said the Brit. “I didn’t recognize her and a lot of people haven’t recognized her either.”

Indeed, despite much speculation by TikTok sleuths — who named various singers and reality stars — no one has successfully managed to identify the mystery flyer.

“Can confidently say, I have no idea who she is,” declared one.

The tiff ended after Johnson subsequently asked a flight attendant to move her because things were getting “serious.” However, she said that they forgot about her request as the plane was “about to land.”

In retrospect, Johnson said she was glad she got the bizarre encounter on camera because it was funny that someone would have such an “ego boost.”

Commenters commended Johnson for remaining cool under pressure.

“I’m so happy you said, ‘no,’” praised one, while another wrote, “the way you laughed in her face.”

A third found the woman’s request ironic because “no one knew she was there until she mentioned it!”

“This lady wasn’t even in the video,” seconded another. “Her voice wasn’t even in the video until she decided to be in and make her presence known.”

Some even accused Johnson of staging the incident, but she claims she didn’t know the woman at all.
