One thing Kate Middleton eats every day is royally disgusting.

That’s according to a hungry reporter who tucked into the Princess of Wales’ typical diet for 24 hours — and liked most of what they tried, with one glaring exception.

Kate reportedly loves to prepare meals for her family and is somewhat of a chef herself, packing her daily meals with fruits and vegetables — providing a wonderful boost to her immune system after a shock cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

Becky Pemberton from The Sun decided to try out the royal meal plan to see what it’s all about.

For breakfast, the Princess reportedly starts her day with a healthy green smoothie filled with kale, spirulina (a type of algae), romaine, matcha (green tea leaves), spinach, coriander leaves and blueberries, according to the MailOnline.

After putting all the ingredients in a blender and pouring the murky results into a glass, Pemberton said that the drink “looked remarkably similar to pond water.”

Though she said it didn’t taste as bad as it looked, it wasn’t something she would want to have every day, and she “certainly wouldn’t describe it as delicious.”

She added a few squirts of agave nectar for sweetness — which ended up improving the taste — but still couldn’t claim to be a fan.

For lunch she tried Kate’s go-to watermelon salad — featuring avocado, cucumber, watermelon, mint leaves, vegan feta cheese, apple cider vinegar and olive oil.

Pemberton said she had “higher hopes” for this meal after the disappointing breakfast option, and said that the dish was indeed “so yummy.”

It was quick to make — less than 10 minutes — but the author had a feeling that she would still feel hungry afterward.

Knowing she would be reaching for snacks after lunch, she tried both olives and popcorn, which are said to be two of the royal’s favorite nibbles.

Pemberton made korma for dinner because Kate typically eats curries, pasta or chicken for dinner, according to the outlet.

She chose the dish because she’s “also not the best with spice,” similar to Prince William, and said “it was a big hit.”

Dessert turned out to be Pemberton’s favorite meal of the day.

“Kate is always discreet and has always complimented the dishes with great kindness,” Chef Rody Warot previously told People. “For dessert, her favorite is sticky toffee pudding. It’s moist and spongy.”

Pemberton tucked into the classic — calling it a “highlight.”

She concluded that she was a “big fan” of Kate’s typical daily menu — with the exception of the “pond water smoothie.”

“It was healthy, colourful, tasty and I felt good after eating it all instead of bloated or sluggish,” Pemberton wrote.
