A family of four discovered a hidden door inside their “dream house” during renovations.
Frida, who goes by @fridasofialind, revealed how she found a blocked entryway behind a panel wall.
In a 38-second clip posted on Oct. 31, the homeowners strip the wall down, panel by panel, revealing the layers beneath until they notice a doorway.
The family started renovations on their two-story vintage villa in northern Sweden in 2023. During the renovations, they initially spotted one of the sealed doors, which they assume connects to the hidden door.
“After peeling off layer by layer it finally appeared,” Frida confessed in the clip. “Unfortunately the door was locked and impossible to open.”
Without a solid answer to what lies between the mystery door, the family considers the house to be “haunted.”
And they’re not alone; the discovery spooked many TikTokers.
“Anybody else see the handle move,” claimed one person.
“I had to watch this twice the door handle moved,” spooked another.
However, some people believe the hidden door is a hoax after spotting a few details.
“That door isn’t old. It looks brand new and had no handle. Then a handle suddenly appeared, which needs to be attached from the other side,” commented a spectator.
“There is someone on the other side attaching the other handle that’s why it’s moving. This isn’t a secret room,” wrote a TikToker.
The Swedish family isn’t the only household that found hidden doors inside their home.
Previously reported by The Post, a couple discovered a secret room inside the house they’d lived in for years before.
“What the f–k, we have never seen this in our house and we have lived here for four years,” Blazingstar said in a video posted online.
The couple came across the secret room when they were removing carpet in their basement, only to find the “sliding drywall pocket door.” Inside the elongated room contained a working light switch and bulb, several wires hanging on the wall, a drain, four mats and “rust” patches on the floor.
In follow-up videos, the couple showed their children the room. Their older daughter stepped inside onto the questionable flooring with bare feet, while the youngest son carried what looked to be a cross with him.
