Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson is winning over the entire Sajak family — one TikTok at a time.
“First trip with the Sajak fam = success … I think?” Olson, 29, wrote via TikTok on Tuesday, November 3, alongside footage with girlfriend Maggie Sajak and her famous dad, former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, lip-syncing a beloved Gilmore Girls scene.
“What do you have to offer?” Pat, 80, mouthed before Olson replied, “Nothing, only this,” and started dancing. (Sean Gunn’s Kirk Gleason originally said the now-viral “nothing” line in his character’s avant-garde short film, which premiered during a town movie night during season 2.)
After receiving a look from Pat, the Dancing With the Stars season 35 castoff buried his face in his hands and walked off camera.
Olson has been dating Maggie, 31, since April.
“It’s really cool because we’re obviously living very different lives right now on the opposite side of the country, but we’re able to come together and just have an awesome relationship,” Olson exclusively told Us in May. “I feel like in any relationship, you’re trying to figure out how to see each other as frequently as possible, which is never something that I thought in my past I was going to want to do … but now I really do.”
He continued at the time, “It’s just about planning and making sure you’re setting aside time to see each other and make really cool experiences happen because a start of a relationship never happens again. You only get one chance at a start of a relationship.”
While speaking with Us, Olson revealed that he already met Pat.
“He’s a great guy,” he gushed. “Everybody’s nervous to meet the father of the person they’re dating, or mother or both. I’m a very weird person, I’m a very out there person. I’m not going to hold back who I am as a person, and people seem to enjoy that company. I’m happy that I’m able to be myself truly in every aspect now.”
Olson also had Maggie’s support during his DWTS tenure.
“It’s so awesome [to have her here]. I try not to look at her during the dance because I know that she’s smiling,” he told Us in September, weeks before his Halloween Horror Nights elimination. “I know that she’s so excited and smiling. And if I looked at her, I would just like be like, ‘Ah!’ But it’s awesome, and she’s so supportive of both of us, too. She was wearing the Team Banana ballroom shirt today, so that was cool.”
