LANDOVER, Md. — Jameis Winston didn’t turn out to be a hero.
But he was heroic.
Winston, targeting Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely over and over, was 26-for-38 with three touchdown after halftime and overcame a 14-point, fourth-quarter deficit in the Giants’ 27-27 overtime tie with the Commanders.
He orchestrated a 13-play, 63-yard TD drive; a nine-play, 75-yard TD drive; and a 10-play, 72-yard TD drive.
