Jayson Tatum is getting record compensation after helping lead the Celtics to their 18th NBA championship.

Boston and the star wing have agreed to the largest contract in league history with a five-year, $314 million supermax extension with a player option, according to multiple reports.

The pact takes him through the 2029-30 season.

Tatum averaged 26.9 points and 8.1 rebounds last season.

The Celtics announced Monday that the team is being put up for sale.
