Jesse James’ wife Bonnie Rotten has reportedly filed for divorce — and the estranged couple are both seeking temporary restraining orders against one another.

TMZ reported Friday, November 22, that James, 55, filed for a restraining order Wednesday, November 20, in response to Rotten’s divorce filing and her own temporary restraining order request.

The West Coast Choppers founder — who was previously married to Sandra Bullock — and his estranged wife both accused each other of domestic abuse in their respective court filings, per TMZ.

The couple married in June 2022 and welcomed a son, Bishop, in June 2023.

Former adult film star Rotten — real name Alaina Hicks — told TMZ that James made abuse allegations against her in response to her filing for divorce as “part of his ongoing attempt to manipulate and gaslight me.”

“For the safety and well-being of our child, I will not engage in litigating this matter in the press. I trust the legal process to address these issues appropriately and respectfully ask for privacy during this time,” she added.

In Wednesday’s court filing, James claimed that Rotten once tried to attack him and break his finger, per the TMZ report. On another occasion, he alleged that she poked a hole in his neck with her fingernail. He also claimed that Rotten once kicked him from behind, breaking his wrist and dislocating his thumb, after a heated argument.

According to TMZ, James asked a court to keep Rotten 100 feet away from him and Bishop until a child custody hearing is held.

For her part, Rotten claimed in her request for a restraining order that James has gotten physical with her during their relationship, including once slapping her in the face. She also accused him of punching her in the throat on another occasion.

Rotten previously filed for divorce from James twice in December 2022, which she documented via Instagram at the time. The pair appeared to have reconciled, however.

“The past week has been a pretty terrible week on all accounts … I mistakenly posted my private business between my husband and I on social media,” Rotten wrote via Instagram at the time.

“Yes I filed for divorce … the next day I filed a non suit to stop the divorce,” Rotten shared. “I love Jesse so much and was very hurt by what I saw when I went through his phone. In his defense and the reason I am back home is that he didn’t say anything inappropriate.”

She continued: “He didn’t talk about ‘having sex or meeting up with anyone.’ That’s why I am here working out the marriage that I believe in. Everything was blown out of proportion to a degree that it didn’t need to go. … I would like to have peace in this time as I work on my relationship with my husband. There’s nothing more to it. I’m pregnant and I would like to be able to focus on that without the stress of the outside world making it more difficult to have a healthy pregnancy.”

Two days after withdrawing the initial divorce filing, she filed for divorce again.

James’ relationship with Rotten marks his fifth marriage. He was previously married to Karla James from 1991 to 2002, Janine Lindemulder from 2002 to 2004, Bullock from 2005 to 2010, and Alexis DeJoria from 2013 to 2020. Amid his divorce from Bullock, James publicly admitted to cheating on the Blind Side star.
