Jesse Palmer’s daughter, Ella, inherited his taste in music.

The Golden Bachelorette host exclusively on his current obsessions in the new issue of Us Weekly, revealing that his 9-month-old baby girl has taken a liking to one of his favorite artists. “This is such a ‘dad’ answer, but my Ella is obsessed with any Raffi song!” he shares.

Getting to share some of his favorite children’s music with his little girl is “such a cool, full-circle experience for me,” the TV personality tells Us. “I grew up on Raffi myself as a baby in Ottawa, Canada.”

Palmer and his wife, Emely Fardo, welcomed their first child earlier this year, “Our worlds have been forever changed … She’s finally here … ELLA REINE PALMER 💕,” Palmer captioned a sweet hospital selfie with his girls via Instagram on January 10. “Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude.”

He has since shared several adorable pics of Ella on his social media, including a group photo from his and Fardo’s recent trip to Madrid. “Ella has become quite the little 🌎 traveler,” he captioned a Monday, October 28, Instagram pic of his family of three.

While fans may know Palmer for his NFL career and hosting of ABC’s The Bachelor franchise, the former athlete is also a secret history buff. He tells Us that one of his most recent movie picks has been 2018’s Mary Queen of Scots.

“I’m a history nerd, and Mary Stuart’s tragic, inspiring story with cousin Elizabeth I is truly remarkable,” he notes. “Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie are both incredible in this film.”

As much as Palmer enjoys learning about the lives of historical figures, he also loves diving into a good book. He tells Us that his current read is Gabriel García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude.

“[The] Nobel Prize-winning novel is simply a masterpiece and a cornerstone example of magical realism, which I love!” he gushes.

Outside of his top entertainment pics, Palmer is also obsessed with the cast of The Golden Bachelorette’s debut season. The host previously told Us that he formed connections with many of Joan Vassos’ contestants while filming and asked them for fatherhood advice.

“I just wanted to pick their brains on the dos and don’ts of raising a daughter,” he exclusively shared in September. “The guys could not have been more genuine, more generous with their time and their advice [and] supportive of one another. They were funny.”

Palmer went on to gush: “I knew on that very first night, I was just gonna love this entire group of guys. “I mean this, I’m always trying to hang out with the cast off-camera as much as possible. But this group of guys, they were such a joy to be around. I’m so happy that we get to show more of their personalities this season and peel the layers back to who they are because they really are a special group of guys.”
