Katy Perry is still holding onto her positive pregnancy test from when she and Orlando Bloom welcomed daughter Daisy — and she keeps it in a unique spot.

“Here is my pee stick test for when I conceived my daughter Daisy Dove Bloom,” Perry, 40, said in a Wednesday, January 22, video interview with Capital FM where she’s holding up a photo of the test. “And Orlando was gone and I called him. I FaceTimed him, I was on a hike. I was like, ‘Guess what?’”

She continued, “And I still have it and that’s weird, but it’s not. I don’t care.”

Perry further shared that the used pregnancy test remains in a safe spot of her and Bloom’s home.

“It’s in a drawer with lots of things. You know what else is in a drawer?” she continued. “It’s probably right next to Orlando’s Legolas ears.”

Perry joked that the stick and Bloom’s iconic prop from his Lord of the Rings character were included with “all the most important things” that the couple owns.

Perry and Bloom, 48, welcomed daughter Daisy, now 4, in August 2020. While celebrating Mother’s Day in May 2024, the pop star reflected on her pregnancy.

“Today I told my mother that the day I realized how much she loved me is the day I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove,” Perry wrote via Instagram. “There is nothing like a Mother’s love. Never take it for granted. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers — any way you come.”

The slideshow included a snap of her positive test and other special moments throughout her pregnancy.

“1. Og pee stick! 2. Telling O I was pregnant (he was filming in Prague) 3. Telling my brothers @lukebryan @lionelrichie the big news on set in Hawaii at #idol 4. Hearing Daisy’s heartbeat for the first time 5-10: Some bump pics from before I met my Daisy Dove,” she captioned the pics.

While watching Daisy grow up, Perry has been inspired by her little one in her music. On her most recent album, 143, she wrote the song “Lifetimes” in honor of her daughter.

“I tell her ‘I love you’ before she goes to bed every night, but I’ve started telling her ‘Will you find me in every lifetime?’ And she says ‘Yes,’” Perry explained. “I just think you can find your soulmate, it can be your best friend, your pet, your daughter. They come in many shapes and forms.”
