Matthew Stafford and wife Kelly seem to be just fine after the “media storm” over recent comments she made about dating his former Georgia teammate to “piss him off” during the early days of their relationship.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, Stafford took a shot at “insecure men” and gushed over her marriage with the Rams quarterback.

“Realizing how many insecure men there are out there.. so grateful I married the complete opposite.
Loved last night,” Stafford wrote, including a photo that featured her and the Super Bowl champ taking in a Chris Stapleton concert with their arms wrapped around each other.

The concert took place at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Thursday.

It came two weeks after she ruffled some feathers when she recalled dating Stafford’s backup quarterback at Georgia during an appearance on the “Off the Vine” podcast with Kaitlyn Bristowe.

The couple met while enrolled at Georgia, where she was a cheerleader and Stafford was the star quarterback.

They went on to tie the knot in 2015 and share four daughters.

“It wasn’t that cute of a relationship at first,” Stafford told Bristowe of her relationship with Stafford. “I hated him, I loved him. I dated the backup to piss him off, which worked — he was the bad boy too.

“Matthew’s so sweet and a Southern gentleman and all that stuff. And the backup was the complete opposite, and it upset him.”

The now-viral clip wasn’t received well.

Some fans and sports media members, including ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, ripped Stafford for publicly sharing the story because they believed it wasn’t favorable toward her husband.

Stafford later addressed the backlash and issued an apology to the family of Joe Cox, a former Georgia QB whom played alongside Stafford for three years in Athens.

Many had assumed Cox, who backed up Stafford for three years, was the quarterback in question.

“To this beautiful fam…,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Story, including a photo of Cox and his family. “I am sorry for the media storm that happened last week that made its way into your lives. You had ZERO involvement in what I spoke about and in fact, it was y’alls relationship in college that I looked up to and wanted for me and Matthew. You were the couple that everyone thinks Matthew and I was.. y’all were the UGA QB and cheerleader that met and never let go. I love y’all.”
