It’s a crime of fashion.

A luxury French clothing brand ripped off the logo of the New York Young Republicans Club and slapped it on a sweatshirt it sells for $1,399.

One garment fetched $2,500 on the secondary market, and some sellers asking as much as $15,000.

Enfants Riches Déprimés — a haute fashion house that translates to “Depressed Rich Kids” — currently advertises the tawny port-colored sweatshirt on its website, where it is completely sold out.

“Oversized raglan sleeve crew neck sweatshirt in medium weight loop terry. rib knit cuffs & waistband. printed artwork at front. patched repairs on sleeve. signature vintage wash process. made in the usa,” the website advertises.

On the shirt’s front is the GOP club’s signature bald eagle The clothing brand added the Latin phrases “Pro Deo et Patria” — “for God and country” — and “Forum Libertum Oeconomia Libera,” meaning “A Free Forum, Free Economy.”

And leaving nothing to the imagination, the words “New York Young Republican Club” is emblazoned across the front of the sweatshirt in stately Times New Roman font.

But the 113-year-old club is not amused.

“The New York Young Republican Club will not stand idle as brands steal, sell, and damage our intellectual property. We will aggressively protect our rights and look forward to initiating litigation against them and their affiliates,” a club spokesman said.

“I wish that they would have consulted with us before stealing,” said Lucian Wintrich, press chairman of the club who first made the discovery. “It is showing that conservatism is kind of counter-culture and punk rock again.”

The club, once considered a far-right backwater in deep blue New York City, has seen exponential growth, going from just 40 members in 2019 to over 1,600 today.

President-elect Trump spoke at the club’s annual gala last year and received a hero’s welcome. Club President Gavin Wax is widely expected to take an administration post at some point during the next four years.
