Online discount giant Temu can feel like a savior for parents battling the current cost-of-living issues.

As long as your order arrives… in a timely manner… and it’s what you ordered.

Or, at least, what you think you ordered.

“Should have read the description and checked the photos”

A mom has learned these Temu risks the hard way, after she ordered a pack of 15 party hats for her child’s birthday… and they were too small. Even for a baby.

Posting on her account The Weatherleys, the mom-of-two shared her experience to laugh at herself, and to warn other parents.

“When you order party hats from Temu…” she wrote over the photo of what she ordered on the video.

In the next shot, her adorable one-year-old models the hat… which is tiny, like the size of a thumb.

The baby thinks it’s a winner!

It’s super cute, and super funny.

And, we think – almost worth it!

Upon closer inspection, the mom realized the hats were made for toys or small pets.

“Should have read the description and checked the photos more clearly!” she captioned the video, adding the hashtags #temufail and #whatiorderedversuswhatigot.

Sigh – we’ve all been there with online orders!

“This is a win”

The clip has been viewed almost two million times, and viewers loved it just as much as the giggling baby did.

“It makes her look more cute and she is so chuffed with it!” one wrote.

“Honestly this is a win,” another laughed.

“Every year she needs to wear the hat!” a third suggested.

And this person spoke the pragmatic truth: “This is why I love Temu cause you order things and they turn out so much better!!!!”

As other viewers shared that they’d made similar mistakes on Temu.

“One thing with Temu, gotta read read read…LOL,” one said.

“You gotta keep a measuring tape by your side while you’re scrolling on Temu!”

“It is hilarious how many items I buy for Temu that are too small or big compared to what they should be,” a third agreed.

But our favorite response was: “Definitely buying these for my tortoise!”
