She’s the queen of hop.

Moo Deng, the fame-hungry, hungry hippo putting a regional zoo in Thailand on the global map has stunned onlookers once again — with a remarkable rendition of the late Michael Jackson’s iconic moonwalk.

A widely-circulated video dated Sept. 26 shows the short sensation — that some have now labeled a problematic pygmy for her less than friendly manner — delivering the uncannily accurate performance for her adoring fans.

The beloved celebricritter can be seen walking backward in the smoothest of styles within her enclosure for several steps, before running forward.

It’s one of several recent natural mannerisms little Moo Deng has caught attention for recently — the other most notable being for biting her trainer on the leg.

In response, many online called the pint-sized princess “kind of mean,” chiding her for “always choosing violence.”

But the real worry, officials at the Chonburi zoo say, continues to be how Moo Deng is being treated by the thousands coming to routinely visit her.

People have thrown things at her and splashed her with water in an attempt to wake the animal up.

These behaviors are not only cruel but also dangerous,” zoo director Narongwit Chodchoi said.

“We must protect these animals and ensure that they have a safe and comfortable environment.”

In just a few months time, Moo Deng has become the center of global attention — even finding herself and her sudden fame the subject of a recent “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update segment.

“For the past 10 weeks, I have been going nonstop,” said cast member Bowen Yang, while dressed in a Moo Deng costume, in a bit referencing another pop culture sensation, singer Chappell Roan.

“The response has been overwhelming, but it has come to the point where I need to set some boundaries,” he joked.
