Another NFL week is nearly in the books after Sunday’s slate of games.

Jerry Jones’ 82nd birthday ended in disastrous fashion, while the Ravens continued to show just how dangerous they can be.

Here are a few of the winners and losers from this weekend’s football action.

Winners from Week 6

Derrick Henry

The Ravens running back recorded his sixth consecutive game with a rushing touchdown in Baltimore’s 30-23 win over the Commanders. Henry leads the NFL in rushing yards after finishing with 132 yards and two touchdowns.

Henry has helped create one of the most dangerous offenses in the league with the 1-2 punch on the ground between himself and quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Buccaneers

It’s been a tough few weeks for the state of Florida after they were hit with two hurricanes, including Milton which struck the Tampa area on Wednesday Category 3 storm. The Buccaneers were able to bring some joy to the region with a much-needed win over the Saints. The Bucs had left the area on Tuesday to get ahead of the storm and were able to overcome some bumps in Sunday’s win.

“The last few weeks have been tough for the Tampa area and all of South Florida,” QB Baker Mayfield said. “Today was a team embracing everything that everybody was going through, ups and downs and handling it the best way you can, fighting through it and trying to make it work.”

Jordan Love

That’s the Jordan Love everyone has been waiting to see. The Packers quarterback had four touchdown passes on 258 passing yards in a win over the Cardinals. Love completed 22-of-32 passes on a day that he hit nine different receivers over the course of the victory.

Love missed two games due to knee injury and had been slow to get going once he returned, but things have really started to come together for Love this week.

Losers from Week 6

Greg Joseph

The Giants kicker missed two field goals on Sunday in the loss to the Bengals. The second missed kick was somewhat inconsequential considering the hill the Giants needed to climb to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, but the first one was a killer.

Joseph lined up for a 47-yard field goal attempt that would have tied the score at 10 with just over 10 minutes left in the game. However, the attempt went wide left and the Bengals got the ball back and a last-ditch effort down 17-7 came up short when the kicker missed it wide left yet again with 55 seconds left in the game. After Sunday night, the Giants may need to look for another kicker until they get Graham Gano back.

Jerry Jones

That was a tough way to spend your 82nd birthday.

The Cowboys were decimated 47-9 by the Lions on Sunday afternoon in the fifth-worst margin of defeat in franchise history. The Cowboys have struggled mightily at home this year and their defense continues to be a liability.

A piece of humble pie is not something you want on your birthday, but Jones and the Cowboys got a big piece on Sunday.

Doug Pederson

Pederson and the Jaguars have appeared here before, but it’s hard not to include them with how bad this season has gone in Jacksonville. The Jags were blown out by the Bears on a big stage in London and the offense was putrid as they dropped to 1-5 on the season.

Don’t worry, though, Pederson said he doesn’t feel any insecurity over his job as things continue to go downhill for the Jaguars.
