While the Raiders and Bills were tied 13-13 at halftime, the Las Vegas offense saw a chance to get going, following the departure of C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

In the middle of the second quarter, Gardner-Johnson was ejected from the Raiders and Bills game because he was seen spitting towards members of the Raiders offensive line.

Gardner-Johnson was seen walking towards Raiders center Tyler Linderbaum and guard Spencer Burford and started to exchange some words with them, resulting in him spitting at them.

Buffalo received a 14-yard penalty for Gardner-Johnson’s actions.

Through the first half, both teams were nearly matching each other’s production as the Bills finished with 176 total yards of offense while Las Vegas finished with 175.

At halftime, Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins was 12 of 17 for 126 yards, while running back Ashton Jeanty had eight carries for 27 yards and a touchdown on a one-yard run in the first quarter.

Las Vegas scored two more times in the first half from two field goals that came off the leg of kicker Matt Gay.

Gardner-Johnson’s incident resulted in Las Vegas having another opportunity to add points before halftime as Gay was able to nail a 27-yard field goal through the uprights.

Buffalo got on the board first in the game when kicker Tyler Bass hit a 44-yard field goal on the Bills’ opening possession. Bass had another field goal early in the second quarter from a 28-yard kick.

The Bills’ first touchdown of the game was a 9-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Khalil Shakir with 7:13 in the second quarter.

In the middle of the third quarter, the Bills were able to hold a 23-13 lead over the Raiders without Gardner-Johnson on the field.
