While the Las Vegas Raiders have been one of the more impressive teams through the first two weeks of the season, the New Orleans Saints have been just as impressive — which could allude to a potential problem for the Raiders.

After the Raiders concluded their final practice for the week, before they travel to New Orleans, Kubiak talked about the struggles of playing in the Superdome as an opponent on the road.
“You can prep them as much as you want, but once you get there to an environment like that, it’s a whole new ballgame,” Kubiak said. “It’s a great environment to play.”
Both the Raiders and Saints have a lot more to smile about these days than they have in the past four seasons.
The Raiders are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2021. The Saints are coming off an impressive 24-17 victory against the Baltimore Ravens. As well as a near-overtime victory against the Detroit Lions in Week 1.
A large part of the Saints’ success is owed to second-year head coach Kellen Moore and quarterback Tyler Shough.
Shough has thrown for 662 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in the early stages of the season.

With the team playing better, Kubiak said he anticipates the Saints fan base to bring a tough challenge on Sunday.
“That’s what makes the NFL so fun is environments like this,” Kubiak said.
For the Raiders, they’ve also been sustaining early success in the season for similar reasons as the Saints.
Kubiak, who is a first-time head coach in the NFL, has crafted a new dynamic style of play calling that is paying off for the team.
Four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins is off to a hot start, completing 67.8% of his passes for 413 yards, with six touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Raiders’ offseason investment in their offensive line has been paying off, as coveted free agent center Tyler Linderbaum and Spencer Burford have improved the front lines.
Second-year running back Ashton Jeanty has finally been unleashed as well, having 150 yards rushing while also being dynamic in the passing game with 10 receptions for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
