Carole Radziwill is ready to take another bite out of the Big Apple by rejoining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Carole, 62, is joining the season 16 cast of the Bravo series as a “friend” of the Housewives, Bravo announced on Monday, March 2.

“In the marathon of life, loyalty is everything,” the network teased via X. “And because of Bravo fans’ loyalty, Carole Radziwill is returning to #RHONY as a friend-of for Season 16!!! 🍎.”

Variety, who was first to report the casting news, also revealed that filming will begin this week in New York City.

Carole previously starred on the NYC franchise from season 5 to season 10 and is a journalist and writer. She was married to John F. Kennedy Jr.’s cousin Anthony Radziwill until he died of cancer at age 40 in 1999.

Carole joins Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva and Jessel Taank, who are all coming back as main cast members after appearing on the reboot in seasons 14 and 15.

A Bravo press release also confirmed that Daisy Toye, Hailey Glassman and Erika Hammond will round out the full-time cast.

Carole has been spotted on social media with Erin, 38, recently, raising eyebrows among Real Housewives fans. Neither reality star, however, publicly commented about the casting rumors at the time.

Carole’s return to the show comes after she and Bravo exec Andy Cohen squashed their long-standing beef last year.

“Andy and I’ve known each other a very long time, way before the Housewives. After I left, there was some animosity and some miscommunication. It’s a high-stress job,” Carole told Us Weekly exclusively at BravoCon 2025. “We did not speak for a long time. Publicly, we were sparring a little. I just thought, ‘Why are we doing this publicly?’”

RHONY premiered in 2008 with Luann de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Jill Zarin and Alex McCord as the original Housewives.

Carole joined the ranks during season 5 in 2012, departing five seasons later.

The original rendition went off the air in 2021 after 13 seasons. RHONY was rebooted in 2023 for season 14 with Erin, Sai and Jessel starring alongside Brynn Whitfield, Jenna Lyons and Ubah Hassan. Racquel Chevremont joined the cast for season 15, and Rebecca Minkoff was a “friend.”

Following an explosive season 15 finale and icy reunion in 2025, the fate of the franchise was up in the air.

At the end of the season, Brynn and Ubah got into a fight after Ubah claimed Brynn slept with someone to get onto the show. In response, Brynn shared that she was sexually assaulted in the past, later claiming Ubah knew about the incident and still made the dig about her allegedly sleeping her way to the top.

Ubah was adamant that Brynn never told her about her past assault. Brynn, for her part, confessed that maybe Ubah hadn’t “clocked it” when she allegedly told her about the incident during an off camera phone call, which caused several of her costars to question whether Brynn was being honest.

Brynn announced her exit from the show in June 2025 after reuniting with her costars for their reunion, which ended with most of the cast being cordial.

Lyons, for her part, announced in November 2025 that she would not be returning to the show.

“I mean, I feel like we were [brought] on for a reason,” Sai exclusively told Us in November 2025. “We want to see that through, so I can’t wait to see this next chapter of RHONY.”

Producer Andy, 57, teased that same month at BravoCon, “We have a cast for The Real Housewives of New York City.”

He teased, “We are gonna be filming in the next few months. [I’m] very excited about that. More to come about that.”
