Alana Stewart, ex-wife of Rod Stewart, is dating Ed Henry, executive editor of Newsmax2 and host of the network’s The Briefing.

Alana, 79, exclusively tells Us Weekly that her relationship with Henry, 53, began after a chance meeting in Florida.

“I’ve known Ed for years, but only as friends, and we started dating earlier this year. I came to Palm Beach with my daughter and we ran into each other. He asked me to dinner and we really got along well,” she says.

Though they’ve been longtime friends, the two did not begin dating until his recent divorce from NPR’s Shirley Hung. The pair married in 2010 and have two children together.

According to a source, Alana and Ed are “so cute together and have so much fun,” and they also run in the same social circles.

“They just compliment each other really well,” the insider tells Us. “They spent a lot of time in Palm Beach where Ed lives and works. They have a lot of mutual friends in Palm Beach, Florida so they are always at dinners and events together.”

The source adds that Ed is “so in awe” of Alana.

“He thinks she is so gorgeous, sexy and smart — the full package,” the source tells Us. “He took her as his date to the Newsmax, his company’s, party at Breakers hotel in Palm Beach. They were dancing and mingling with everyone, and looked so happy.”

Alana posted photos from that party via her Instagram account on Thursday, December 19. The two are all smiles in the trio of pics, with Alana wearing a green dress and Ed in a suit and tie.

“What a fun Christmas party at @thebreakers! Thank you @edhenrytv and @newsmax,” she captioned the post.

Alana was previously married to actor George Hamilton from 1972 to 1975, and the two share son Ashley, 50. She was then married to Stewart from 1979 to 1984. They share daughter Kimberly, 45, and son Sean, 43.

Even years later, she has a relationship with both of her exes. She remains close friends with Hamilton and reunited with Rod in 2022 to celebrate Kimberly’s engagement.

“The most important thing when you have a divorce is to stay friends,” she told Closer in 2022. “You just have to remember what you loved about the person and remember the positives, not the negatives, and you have to move forward. The most important thing in life is friendship, love and caring about other people.”
