SciSure has finalised the acquisition of Labfolder and Labregister, two flagship solutions developed by Labforward, reinforcing its strategy to become the central platform for connected and reproducible scientific work.

Labfolder, an industry-leading electronic lab notebook (ELN), and Labregister, a widely used laboratory inventory system, will now form part of SciSure’s Scientific Management Platform (SMP). This unique platform is designed to unify documentation, inventory oversight, and compliance monitoring without adding to the administrative load. Both products will be integrated under the SciSure name.

The deal also bolsters SciSure’s service to the German scientific sector. With Labfolder, Labregister, and SciSure now aligned, researchers have access to the only globally accessible solutions that offer full support in German.

“Labfolder and Labregister are trusted by scientists around the world to capture experiments and manage lab resources,” said Philip Meer, CEO of SciSure. “Bringing these products and the talented team together with SciSure will accelerate innovation and expand choice for our valued customers, particularly those in Germany who have come to rely on a local presence for guidance and support. This acquisition brings us one step closer to fulfilling our mission: to facilitate unburdened, uncompromised, safe, and sustainable scientific advancement.”

By combining the strengths of Labfolder and Labregister with its own technology and partnerships, SciSure is set to speed up innovation and broaden its reach among researchers, laboratory managers, and compliance specialists globally. The move highlights SciSure’s determination to build a platform that upholds research quality, compliance, and sustainability.
