Southern Charm alum Taylor Ann Green is opening up about how her life has changed after ending two relationships with allegedly unfaithful exes.
“I couldn’t be happier to have my life back,” Taylor, 32, revealed during a Sunday, November 1, Instagram Q&A with fans.
In June, Taylor confirmed on “The Viall Files” that she’d recently split from ex-boyfriend Gaston Rojas after three years together. Taylor suspected that Gaston, 34, may have cheated on her, though she said that he denied any infidelity.
Prior to her relationship with Gaston, Taylor’s tumultuous romance with Southern Charm costar Shep Rose played out on the hit Bravo show — ultimately ending when she discovered he’d been unfaithful, too. Shep, 47, confessed that he had indeed cheated on Taylor, even saying that “sometimes it was fun” to fool around behind her back.
In light of two tough breakups back-to-back, Taylor was quite candid on Sunday when a fan asked her for “the dirty deets” about her split with Gaston.
“Really nothing to it other than finding out about an ongoing affair with a girl in New York #goknicks,” she quipped via Instagram. “The only difference between one cheating ex over the other is that one of them *cough cough* was at least man enough to admit his faults and not lie to cover it up.”
She continued, “For that, I will have (and have had) respect, forgive and move forward. We are better for it.”
Southern Charm fans have speculated that Taylor and Shep may be getting back together after they were spotted filming the Bravo reality show earlier this year. (A Southern Charm season 12 trailer showed the former couple dancing together on a cast trip to Maui, much to the dismay of Shep’s friends, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll.)
Shep remained coy about where he currently stands with Taylor while speaking to Us at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston on October 24, cryptically hinting that “everything’s great” between them.
“We talked for 45 minutes yesterday on the phone,” he told Us.
Asked whether they might get back together, Shep slyly teased with a big grin, “You’re going to have to find out, darling.”
For her part, Taylor clarified on “The Viall Files” in June that filming Southern Charm scenes with her ex didn’t necessarily mean that they were getting back together.
“I have seen the rumors that we’re getting back together or hooking up again or whatever, and that is not true,” she stressed. “Even if I wanted to hook up with Shep again or get back together, I would hope I have a little bit more respect for myself to go from one cheating ex to the other.”
Southern Charm premieres on Bravo Thursday, November 12, at 9 p.m. ET. Stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.
