Taylor Swift fans are back on “Clowneria Street” about the debut of Reputation (Taylor’s Version) all because of one aptly titled handbag the pop star wore on Saturday, October 12.

Swift, 34, stepped out with boyfriend Travis Kelce in New York City on Saturday, where she carried the Mirror Snake Shoulder Bag by Roberto Cavalli. The black leather handbag features a gold chainlink strap and a “RC” mirror monogram emblem. The letter “Cs” are made to look like snakes. Of course, Swifties have famously associated amphibians with Swift’s 2017 album Reputation.

Fans immediately took to social media, speculating that the snake-themed bag was an Easter egg to Swift’s “Taylor’s Version” of the album. (The pop star has rerecorded most of her past LPs following drama with ex-label Big Machine Records; all that’s left is Reputation and debut Taylor Swift.)

“Narrator: The people could not just be cool. They could not remain calm. ChaoSsSsSsss,” one X user wrote on Saturday.

Another added, “This is a freaking Easter egg if I’ve ever seen one. At this point, she’s trolling us so hard.”

Swift paired the handbag with a gold velvet corset and miniskirt from Annie’s Ibiza, accessorizing with gold jewelry. Kelce, 35, for his part, opted for a knit blue polo and khaki trousers.

Swift has not revealed when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be released, but has promised that the vault tracks are “fire.”

“It’s a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure,” Swift teased to TIME in her 2023 Person of the Year profile. “I think a lot of people see it and they’re just like, ‘Sick snakes and strobe lights.’”

She continued, “I’m collecting horcruxes [with all of my rerecordings]. I’m collecting infinity stones. Gandalf’s voice is in my head every time I put out a new one. For me, it is a movie now.”

While Swift remains coy about Reputation (Taylor’s Version), fans have deduced that her recent outfits are sending clues. For instance, at Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs season opener in September, Swift rocked thigh-high, maroon Giuseppe Zanotti boots that resembled ones she wore in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video.
