Even pop stars need a hug from their mom sometimes!

Taylor Swift was seen in a cute moment with her mom, Andrea Swift, backstage after her Eras Tour performance in Toronto on Thursday, November 21.

The “Fortnight” singer was captured in a video posted via X, where she could be seen walking off stage and going straight to hug her mom in an emotional embrace. The two shared a long hug as the elder Swift patted her daughter on the back before the two walked farther backstage arm-in-arm.

The video, posted by X user @CarmBackBeHere, was uploaded alongside the caption, “TAYLOR LEAVING AND HUGGING ANDREA I CRY.”

The pop phenom is performing nine shows in Canada total. After over a year and a half of Eras Tour shows all over the world, the singer will close out her record-breaking tour in Vancouver on Saturday, December 7.

Each show features a 44-song setlist, and is three-plus hours long.

Andrea, 66, has long been beloved by fans and is a known part of Swiftie lore. The Swift matriarch recently made headlines for bringing along some Kansas City Chiefs royalty to her daughter’s show.

Tavia Hunt, wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, posted an Instagram carousel about her time at the Eras Tour in Toronto on Sunday, November 16.

“A huge thank you to the Swift family for an unforgettable time at the Eras Tour in Toronto!🫶Your kindness and hospitality are truly unmatched. It’s hard to believe, but this show just keeps getting better and better,” she wrote in the caption. “If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for? There are only six shows left! And if you can’t make it, don’t miss the critically acclaimed, record-breaking Eras Tour movie.”

Tavia posted photos of herself alongside Andrea, Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, and Chiefs coach Andy Reid’s wife, Tammy Reid.

Andrea has been known to cheer on the Kansas City football team, which Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for.

During a November 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrea was seen in the stands cheering on the Missouri team, wearing a jacket that said “In My Chiefs Era” and standing alongside Taylor and her brother, Austin Swift.
