Apple’s latest launch features a few products that may take a bite out of your wallet.
The tech titan recently dropped five new products — including its highly anticipated foldable phone, the iPhone Duo. Shoppers can now pre-order the new iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, and the revolutionary Duo.
The release marked a new era for the company as newly appointed head honcho, John Ternus, takes the reins from former CEO Tim Cook.
Consumers were in for quite a shock as some of its new products and upgraded models come with an eye-watering price tag.
First up is the newly designed flip-style phone.
iPhone Duo
It’s hard to compare the price of the iPhone Duo to any other product in its lineup as it’s really a first for the Cupertino-based brand. The lowest model of its new foldable phone will set shoppers back $1,999 — a slightly lower price than analysts had expected.
The base model comes with 256 gigabytes of storage and is its thinnest iPhone ever.
However, Apple’s pricier version — with two terabytes of memory — starts at a whopping $3,199.
And that’s before you can even touch the “breakthrough” product. The company is only taking preorders starting on Oct. 16 and availability begins Oct. 23, the tech brand said.
iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max
And good luck getting a deal on a base model iPhone. This year, Apple revealed it won’t release one as it plans to focus on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The all-new 18 Pro is an eye-popping $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is $1,299. The Pro is now $100 more expensive than last year’s version — but at least consumers will get new colors.
Apple is now offering glacier and burgundy — alongside its other traditional options.
Apple Watch 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4
The Apple Watch 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are also getting a price update.
The Apple Watch Series 12 comes in two sizes and start at $399, while the Apple Watch Ultra 4 is $799.
Those opting for the Series 12 with a 42mm aluminum case, prices start at $399 — and is the same price as the base Series 11. The 46mm Series 12 is where price tags increase — starting at $449 — and a $20 jump from the previous generation.
This means there is now a $50 difference separating the two sizes — despite the case material.
The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is $799 and is unchanged from last year’s Ultra 3 price. It’s available starting on Sept. 18, and has minimal changes.
AirPods 5
Customers are in for a treat as the latest AirPods 5 base model is the same price as last year’s and the higher-end model is actually cheaper than last year’s.
The AirPods 4 base model is $129 and its upgraded model is $179. Now, the AirPods 5 base is also $129, whereas its elevated model is less costly — coming in at $149.
