The popular grocery chain Trader Joe’s could is opening three new stores in California as part of a nationwide expansion.

A recent announcement from the supermarket listed new locations in Clairemont-San Diego (3962 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard), Leucadia in Encinitas (1590 Leucadia Boulevard), and Riverbank near Modesto (2135 Claribel Road).

Opening dates for the forthcoming stores remain unclear.

A message on the company’s website reads only: “Coming Soon!”

“Our Crew is working hard so we can open our doors.”

“We’ll continue to post new details about the store and its opening here, so please check back for updates. We look forward to seeing you!” the notice added.

A spokesperson for the company said information about new locations typically appears on its website between three to six months before opening, KTLA reported.

The news follows the announcement of more than two dozen Trader Joe’s opening across the US, including one that debuted a few weeks ago in Paso Robles.

Others on the list for locations due to open soon or have recently opened include:

  • California: Anaheim Hills (6336 E. Santa Ana Canyon Rd.)
  • Arizona: Tucson (2150 E. Broadway Blvd.)
  • Utah: Herriman (4850 W. 13400 South)

The California Post reached out to the company for more information about how many jobs the stores could bring to the area and a timeline for the stores’ openings.
