Travis Kelce was “very cautious” about revealing his and Taylor Swift’s relationship even with his family at first.

During an recent appearance on “The Pivot” podcast, his brother Jason Kelce explained why the Chiefs tight end was strategic about the couple’s whirlwind romance.

“There was a lead-up to it, because there was the whole thing on the pod about him trying to get a friendship bracelet to her, so I knew that there was something,” Jason said, referring to when Travis shared on their “New Heights” podcast that he tried and failed to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it at an Eras Tour show last summer.

“But I think he was very cautious about even telling me or anybody. Because I mean, the reality is she is under such a microscope that I think they wanted to make sure everything was done in a way that was respectful to people’s privacy and I think they are still trying to do that,” Jason said.

“And even now, I want to be respectful of them and I don’t want anybody to feel like there is like a perceived — like I am violating some sort of private relationship.

“It’s really not my place to speak on their relationship, but he is my brother and I am very happy for him. And you just have to be conscious of how you are saying things because it is under such a microscope.”

Jason and Travis have been open about how their lives have changed amid the heightened attention from their podcast and ties to Swift.

The future Hall of Fame center — who retired in March after 13 seasons with the Eagles and joined ESPN as an NFL analyst — went on to explain how his relationship with Travis has shifted since their podcast took off.

“Whenever you’re in business with family, that is a dynamic, right. And now it’s such a big business, the podcast [New Heights] and all that,” Jason said.

“… Just natures of that have caused a relationship shift — we’ve never had that before. But thankfully, personally Travis and I value who we are as brothers more than any of that. So ay the end of the day all of that other stuff falls under who we are and who we are as brothers.

“And certainly his love life, his family life, and who he cares about falls above the business side of what we’re doing. So, I think when the priority is that, the other stuff that you have to navigate essentially as business partner, it comes with the right frame with it.”

Life has certainly changed for the Kelce brothers after the success of their “New Heights” podcast, which gained a new audience when Travis started dating Swift last summer.

The brothers signed a $100 million deal with Amazon to house their “New Heights” podcast and they have multiple endorsement deals and commercials.

Travis also landed a number of TV gigs, including the host of “Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?” a new series coming to Amazon.

Travis previously explained on his and Jason’s podcast that he tried to shoot his shot with the singer by giving her a bracelet with his phone number on it when he attended her Eras Tour last July.

The All-Pro tight end never got to meet Swift at the time because he said she preserves her voice before her three-hour show.

However, word of Kelce’s interest reached Swift and the relationship blossomed from there.

Swift made her first public appearance at a Arrowhead Stadium, when the Chiefs beat the Bears last fall on Sept. 24.

The next month, they went public with their relationship when they stepped out together holding hands in New York City.

Swift might be in attendance at the Chiefs’ home opener against the Ravens on Thursday, as she has a break from her Eras Tour, which wraps up in December.
