Mama was a rolling scone.

A Virginia woman cleaning out her dead mother’s freezer was Clabber-gasted to discover a petrified, 84-year-old biscuit, according to a viral Reddit post.

“There were a lot of laughs and bewilderment,” family member Andy Wiseman, told Newsweek of the “bittersweet” find, which came with a dated note of explanation.

The Wiseman clan had been mourning the loss of their beloved grandma, who had died the month before at the age of 90.

“I used to go and see her every week,” he said. “We were very close.”

Andy’s mother Linda had reportedly been cleaning out the empty home, when she happened upon the like-a-rock keepsake in the freezer.

An accompanying note read: “Biscuit made by Mrs. Dara L Chambers in August 1940 at the Blankenship home.”

“It was a great moment of levity in an otherwise stressful situation,” declared the dumbfounded descendant.

He later learned that the item had sentimental significance.

After quizzing his great aunt, Wiseman found out that the nosh-talgic edible had been saved by “their brother’s first wife,” Newsweek reported.

Wiseman believes that the biscuit could have been baked for his great uncle by his mother, before he served in World War II.

Years later, it fell into the hands of Wiseman’s grandmother — and into her freezer for its long, icy nap.

Wiseman believes it’s up to him and his brothers to keep the edible family legacy alive.

“The biscuit is now in my parents’ freezer for my brothers and I to deal with,” he told the outlet.

“Let’s just hope no one finds it during a nighttime search for an unauthorized midnight snack.”
