“I always say life and pain are inseparable,” he wrote via Instagram. “And to see @teddimellencamp embrace her pain and use it for the greater good again last night as she emceed the @curemelanoma gala, was a beautiful reminder of what she is capable of. Her story has already saved lives. And I couldn’t be prouder that she will continue to save more.
He concluded, “Love you, Teds. (So much so that I missed the Rams game to be there 🤣).”
Mellencamp later broke the news of their divorce via her Instagram on Saturday, November 2. “After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” Mellencamp wrote. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”

“Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do, but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward,” she wrote.
Arroyave has yet to publicly address the divorce.
Hours after her statement, the Bravo personality was spotted walking in Los Angeles and taking a phone call. Her left hand appeared to have wedding jewelry.
The following day, Arroyave shared that he took his and Mellencamp’s three kids to church. Alongside a car selfie with the kids, Arroyave wrote via his Instagram Story on Sunday, November 3, “Church-bound with these beautiful souls.” He set the post to Tori Kelly’s “Never Alone.”
Arroyave also suggested he was going through a “dark time” while uploading a pic from a hot yoga session. “You’re not always going to be motivated or inspired. That’s where rituals and habits come in,” he wrote via his Instagram Story. “Having good habits is what will get you through your dark days. It’s when you’re under pressure that your true character is revealed.”
Mellencamp and Arroyave had been open about their marital ups and downs through the years, sharing that they nearly split during her first season on RHOBH. (Mellencamp was cast on the Bravo show from seasons 8 to 10.)
“When we first started, I remember my first day honestly it was like ‘F—, at what point do I tell everybody that I’m getting a divorce? Like when do I do this?’” Teddi said during a March 2023 episode of her and Tamra Judge’s “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast. “We are at our worst absolute phase, because truthfully, for us, it was really about a power struggle.”
