Kristin Cavallari is looking for the real deal after she and TikTok star Mark Estes called it quits.
“I’m telling you right now: My next boyfriend is gonna be my next husband,” the Hills alum said on a November 2024 episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “I’m already putting that out there. I can’t keep dating. I am dating, but, like, I can’t keep doing it.”
Us Weekly confirmed in September 2024 that Cavallari and Estes, who had a 13-year age gap, went their separate ways after seven months together.
“It’s hard because I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right,” Cavallari tearfully said on her podcast at the time. “It’s not because of love lost or something bad happened. No one cheated. No one was mean. No one did anything.”
She added, “Mark has been nothing but so sweet and so supportive. He’s always been there. He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I just know long-term he needs to experience life.”
Cavallari, for her part, shares three children — Camden, Jaxson and Saylor — with ex-husband Jay Cutler while Estes had been vocal about one day having kids of his own.

Staying Friendly
Days before news broke of her and Estes’ split, Cavallari praised the importance of remaining friends with her exes while interviewing former fling Jason Walsh.
“I think it’s because we were always honest with each other,” Cavallari explained during the September 2024 podcast episode. “There was always mutual respect and we never let it get weird after either. … We just want the best for each other and I know no matter what, even if we didn’t talk for two months and I got myself into a situation, I could always call you and you would always be there.”
Looking for a ‘Future Husband’
During a November 2024 podcast taping, Cavallari was adamant that “the next guy [she is] serious about is going to be [her] next husband.”
“I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker, but I am not looking to date anyone in entertainment,” she stressed. “I will never date anyone from the DMs ever again because it attracts the wrong type of guy.”
Estes, for what it’s worth, did slide into her DMs earlier that year.
Cavallari also revealed that her next partner should at least be the same age if not “older.”
Paging Someone Secure — And Off Social Media
“I’m never going to do a social media relationship again,” she said on her podcast in November 2024. “I will say, ‘I am in a relationship.’ I will never f—ing post him. I’m not going to make my relationship as accessible.”
She continued, “I just need someone who’s successful so that nothing in my life is a threat.”
A New ‘Deal Breaker’
During the November 2024 podcast taping, she realized a new deal breaker in dating.
“You want to know what else is a deal breaker for me? I want someone who’s had a vasectomy,” she quipped. “I don’t want to have to worry about any of that s—. … I’m not on birth control. I was on birth control from f—ing 15 until 23.”
She added, “I think dads are the ones who’ve obviously had vasectomies. Like, no one without kids is going to have a vasectomy. Ideally, his kids would be a little bit older, so I don’t really have to deal with the day-to-day because … I can’t have a Brady Bunch.”
