Patrick Mahomes bested Lamar Jackson in Week 1. He beat Joe Burrow one week later. Last month, he won a Super Bowl rematch with Brock Purdy.
Now, the Chiefs quarterback faces his greatest rival of all.
Mahomes and Josh Allen will meet for the eighth time Sunday in Buffalo (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS), when the Chiefs (9-0) visit the Bills (8-2) in perhaps the biggest matchup of the regular season. It is the fifth time since the NFL-AFL merger that a pair of teams with eight or more wins will meet prior to Week 11.
The past four meetings between the league’s top quarterbacks have been decided by an average of four points.
