We’re already counting down the minutes to the first upset.
Starting Tuesday, March 18, the 2025 NCAA Men’s Tournament will get underway when eight bubble teams fight for the 11 and 16 seeds in the North, South, East and West Regions.
Once those four cutthroat showdowns take place, the bona fide biggies will take center stage in the 32-game (!) first round at arenas all over North America on March 20-21.
No. 1 seeds set to compete this year include Johni Broome’s Auburn Tigers, Cooper Flagg’s Duke Blue Devils, Walter Clayton Jr.’s Florida Gators and L.J. Cryer’s Houston Cougars.
Other exciting squads to look out for include R.J. Luis Jr.’s St. John’s Red Storm, Jade Atkins’ Michigan State Spartans, Chaz Lanier’s Tennessee Volunteers and Marks Sears’ Alabama Crimson Tide.
St. John’s berth is particularly exciting; the team secured its first “Big East What do tickets cost for 2025 March Madness games? See Duke, St. John’s in nearly four decades, with Rick Pitino, 72, becoming the first coach to lead six different schools to the NCAA Tournament,” The New York Post reported.
While we can’t predict what will happen with these powerhouse clubs — there will likely be a shocking upset or three — we do know the best way to witness March Madness is live, IRL, cheering yourself hoarse while rooting on your favorite team.
