This could add an interesting twist to the Cowboys-Eagles rivalry.
While watching his beloved Iowa Hawkeyes take on the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday in the Elite Eight, star Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean was spotted in the stands in Houston with a brunette companion, identified as Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers in various reports.
The sighting naturally stirred buzz as the 23-year-old DeJean has dominated headlines in recent months after being linked to WWE superstar Nikki Bella, 42.
The nature of DeJean’s relationship with Summers remains unclear.
An Ohio native who attended Ohio State, Summers is in her second year as a Cowboys cheerleader and appeared on Season 2 of the Netflix series, “America’s Sweethearts,” which spotlights the club.
She is also the co-owner and founder of the Colab Collective clothing brand, according to her Instagram bio.
Although Saturday’s game didn’t go DeJean’s way — the Illini crushed the Hawkeyes, 71-59, en route to the Final Four — the All-Pro cornerback appeared to have a good time with Summers at his side, according to a social media snap of the outing.
DeJean played for Iowa from 2021-23 before being drafted by the Eagles 40th overall in 2024.
DeJean was at the tail end of his second season in Philly when rumors of a romance with Nikki revved up.
The wrestling personality, also known as Nikki Garcia, fanned the flames of a potential relationship during a WWE appearance entering the new year.
Their status was called into question in February when the California Post reported DeJean had left a Super Bowl 2026 bash in San Francisco with a mystery brunette.
DeJean and the Eagles fell short of a Super Bowl repeat after falling to the 49ers in the wild-card round of the playoffs in January.
The Seahawks ultimately hoisted the Lombardi Trophy after a dominant 29-13 win over the Patriots in the championship contest.
